Commissioner Klimm is married and is the father of two Mabel and Emily Aladeline Klimm. San Francisco had the honor during 1914 of being selected asthe site for the Regional Bank of the Pacific Coast district. Therewas keen com]5etition for this prize and the decision of the Federalof^cials settled conclusively the claims of San Francisco as the finan-cial, commercial and industrial metropolis of the Pacific Coast. Sub-sequently. Air. Sharp entered theGovernment service, and after re-maining- there for several years, en-gaged finally in that pursuit whereinhe was especially qualified to gainsuccess, namel}, the hotel a small beginning, as ownerand proprietor of a single hotel, herose until at the present time heconducts, in conjunction with Edward Rolkin. his partner, no lessthan twenty-seven hotels in San Francisco, among tliem being manvof the largest and most popular hostelries in the citv.
