HELMAND PROVINCE, Afghanistan (June 3, 2018) — Afghan National Army (ANA) 215th Corps communications instructors show soldiers from 2nd Kandak, 2nd Brigade, ANA 215th Corps how to lift an antenna in a communications course during the Operational Readiness Cycle (ORC) at Camp Shorabak. The ORC is a two-month-long course, which allows soldiers to take leave, solve administrative issues, adopt lessons learned, and train for their next assignment on the front lines. The soldiers within the kandaks are then separated into their specialty groups to further their education in their area of expertise.
