Chris Page in full 1st Battalion Kings Royal rifle Corps uniform and armed with a MKI (1941), in honour of his late father who served with the battalion during the Second World War.
Chris Page: 'My Father joined up in 1938 for the 1st Battalion Kings Royal rifle Corps in London after a period of training he was sent to Burma to sort out a uprising so as ww2 happened he was sent out to Egypt to fight against the Germans and Italian's he spent a total of 5 years and 218 days there, fighting in some of the fearsome battles my father was very fortunate in many ways. He was a Number one Bren Gunner that's the reason why i have a Bren it's a Mk1 1941 one of the best weapons for the troops.' For more information see Chris's website
