Diggers work on wasteland near old Lea Valley sports centre. Sept 2007
From 2007-2008 the Olympic Delivery Authority is engaged in a programme entitled, "Demolish, Dig and Design". This will see the demolition and clearing of the square kilometre Olympic Park site to provide 5 new sports facilties, 31 new bridges built and up to 9,000 workers on the site.
