Organa fructificatio- nis ignota. The plant is fastened to the substratum by means of a disc from which proliferations often arise. The thallus is flat, membranaceous. It is narrow near the base, but scarcely quite terete; up- wards it is evenly broad- ened out until it reaches its normal breadth, about 4 mm.
