Burmobius was erected by Chamberlin (1944b) as a monotypic genus, characterized by the presence of a prosternal diastema in addition to the general features of Australobius, to receive L. feae. Burmobius is, therefore, equivalent to Alloporodontius Verhoeff which was erected as a subgenus of Lithobius to receive.
