Preserved signal box at the port of Lyttleton, Banks Peninsula, Christchurch New Zealand. It ws relocated to its present site in 1994. The box was constructed to house new sinals. It was opened on 29th July 1906. It officially closed on 15th September 1991 when an automated system was introduced. Its former site was near the portal of the Lyttleton Tunnel. The Norwich Way Historical Precinct Society and the Lyttleton Port Company were instrumental in its preservation.
