Brick stamped with the Names of Amenhotep III ca. 1390–1353 New Kingdom This brick has been stamped with the two cartouche names of Amenhotep III. Written in the cartouche on the left is his personal name, Amenhotep, followed by the epithet "ruler of Thebes." On the right is his throne name, Neb-Maat-Re. Each cartouche has two ostrich feathers above it and rests on the hieroglyph representing "gold."
