A mother African Elephant (Loxodonta africana) and its baby cross a road on the way to a water hole. They are part of a large group of mothers sisters daughters aunts and juveniles. Elephants at Addo tend not to have tusks as tusked elephants were poached to extinction so only tuskless breeding stock has survived.
