The opening in the Cueva del Indio (India cave) before a tourist boat emerges into daylight The Cueva del Indio was first discovered in 1920. It has a flowing underground San Vincente river in the San Vincente valley, part of the Valle de Vinales, Pinar del Río Province, west Cuba, Cuba. The cave has a connection with the Taino Indians who held their tribal meetings and made numerous carvings in the walls of these natural limestone caves.
