The Guild Mayor, Councillor Carl Crompton, at the Chinese language and cultural event held in Avenham Park, organised by the Confucius Institute which is a partnership between University of Central Lancashire and Beijing International Studies University. The Director of UCLan Confucius Institute Feixia Yu commented: “The festival provides an opportunity to learn new language skills and share China’s traditions with the local community.”
