220821-N-DH616-2015-ALEXANDRIA NAVAL BASE-August 21st, 2022. Standing NATO Maritime Group Two (SNMG2) Commander, Navy Rear Admiral Scott Sciretta, met with Alexandria Naval Base Commander, Egyptian Navy Admiral Walid Aly Attia. SNMG2 visited the port of Alexandria as part of a scheduled port visit. The visit provided an opportunity for NATO Allied members to engage with Egyptian naval forces.
