Pygmy seahorse (Hippocampus denisii) camouflaged in coral. A seahorse is distinctively shaped fish that has a prehensile tail, which it uses to hold onto coral and plants. It feeds on plankton that it sucks in through its snout. This seahorse is a newly discovered species (in 2003) and is only centimetres long. Photographed in Kimbe Bay, Papua New Guinea.
