Maj. Brent Ellis, a fighter pilot with the 311th Fighter Squadron, instructs Brig. Gen. Eric Sanchez, the Commanding General at White Sands Missile Range, on basic flight procedures prior to a familiarization flight in an F-16 Fighting Falcon, at Holloman Air Force Base, , on Jan. 9, 2017. Sanchez visited Holloman AFB to attend an airspace and mission brief related to Holloman and WSMR’s ongoing partnership. Sanchez was offered a flight in an F-16 Fighting Falcon to gain a better understanding of the aircraft’s mission and its capabilities.
