A GOVERNMENT truck crop specialist in a report April 23 estimates that the Texas Bermuda onion crop is per cent of normal, forecasting a yield of about 246 crates per acre, or a total pro- duction of 2,964,300 crates. An inspec- tion of che districts in which a failing water supply has caused many to fear an extreme shortage of the crop, shows that even these conditions fully warrant the estimated BULB MEN GO HOME. There will be an exodus of Holland bulb salesmen this week, as the Eyndam is due to sail May 4 and it affords the first chance many of the travelers have had in weeks of making a departure from this somewhat inhospitable land. It is estimated that nearly if not quite half a hundred bulb men have booked passage. The number of Holland salesmen vis- iting the trade in the United States was not so largo this year as last, but it is counted that not less than 120 are here. Last year it m
