Stained-Glass window inside the Chapel, Our Lady of Pena, at the Pena Palace (Palácio da Pena) above Sintra, Portugal. The panels of the window were commissioned in 1840 by King Ferdinand II (1816-1885) a German prince who reigned by marriage to Portuguese Queen Maria II as King of Portugal from 1837 to 1853. Ferdinand II commissioned the German Kellner workshop in Nuremberg, Germany to create the panels of the window.
