Two red aces! Small boys playing cards, Huanggang Dong Village, Guizhou Province, China
Huanggang Dong Village is another of the ethnic minority villages in Guizhou Province, Southern China. We arrive at the village during a large wedding celebration and the villagers were wearing beautiful ethnic attire. The wedding involved setting off masses of firecrackers and the streets were littered with debris from them, and were redolent with the smell of gunpowder, lots of smoke and earsplitting bangs. I loved the concentration of these young boys on their card game.
