Figure 215 illustrates the error resulting when only oneexposure is made. Figures 214 and 215 are cuts of the same pelvis^but there is a difference between their widths of centimetres. Davis,have succeeded in taking an X-ray photograph of a gravid uterus; andone case at least has been reported ^ in which the X-rays confirmed thediagnosis of extra-uterine pregnancy, the X-ray photograph showing afoetus 5 or 6 months old.
