A member of the 49th Security Forces Squadron fires the German G36 assault rifle Nov. 12, 2014 at Holloman Air Force Base, Holloman AFB Airmen and the German air force came together at the base's combat arms and maintenance facility for weapons qualification and professional networking. Both teams had the opportunity to fire each other’s weapons with the chance of earning the Air Force Marksmanship Ribbon or the German air force Marksmanship Badge, Schutzenschnur.
