Cuba, Guardalavaca. Museo Chorro de Maita protects the remains of an excavated Indian village and cemetery, including the 62 human skeletons. Because of the way the burried people were lying, people could guess they were indians from probably Venezuela and around 1100 . The village Aldea Taina dates from early 16th century and is reconstructed. A statue, native dwellings and indigenous indian figures are shown. Photos in the museum show the excavation in 1968 of this archeological site.
