A bush cricket Steirodon (pseustes) dentatum found on the Caribbean island of Trinidad & seen here among green foliage. Its brilliant green colour is due to a pigment formed by the insect & not as a result of chlorophyll ingested in the diet. The colour, shape & markings on the wings closely resemble the leaves that form the insect's environment.
