Childhood friends, Tech. Sgt. David Ortiz, left, and Chris Morales take a break from packaging Biscochitos at the Golden Crown Panaderia bakery. Ortiz reached out to Chris and his father, the bakery's owner Pratt Morales, to inquire about sending some local holiday cheer to Ortiz's fellow Airmen. The Morales men made short work of baking and packaging more than 600 Biscochitos, the state cookie of New Mexico.
