Three Marine Corps LAV25 light armored vehicles (LAVs) move down a trail during a patrol between Rodman Naval Station and Howard Air Force Base. The patrol, made up of ten LAVs and an M998 High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) from Company B, 2nd Light Armored Infantry Battalion, was forced to change its route when Panamanian Defense Force (PDF) soldiers refused to disperse a crowd of supporters of General Noriega that had blocked the road through the town of La Chorrera.
