The Durant Nursery Co., Durant, Okla., has decided to open a branch at Muskogee. The firm has already secured some land and is looking for more. New Haven, Conx.—Ernest F. Coe, president of the Elm City Nursery Co., sailed, January 22. on the White Star line steamer Baltic. He will visit the important European nursery centers. CHAS. A. Palmgben, for 17 years su- perintendent of Swain Nelson & Co.'s nurseries at Glenview, 111., will start in business there for himself next spring. His place will be called Palm- gren's Nurseries. The C. S. Harrison's Select Nursery Co., York, Neb., have recently issued a new manual on the iris. This firm, on account of growing business, has bought an additional piece of land near the city and is doubling its plant. DECATUE, ABK. — The Hollandia Nursery Co. has been established here by George C. Groenewegen and H. de Schwepper. Both are nurserymen of long experience in Holland and this country and they intend growing stock for shipping to all parts of the United States either on contract or otherwise.
