AUorchestes ochoiensis. sgnf = second gnathopod of 9 ; other figures fr hand oblong, narrower than the carpus, relatively smaller and narrower than in the male, but otherwise quite similar; dactyl less strongly curved than in the male, and fitting closely to the palm. Posterior margin of the basal joints of the last three pairs of perseopods smooth. Peduncle of the first uropods nearly as long as the rami, and armed distally with a slender spine. Rami of the second uropods subequal, longer than the peduncle, the inner ramus rather broad at the base. Terminal uropods reaching about to the middle of the rami of the second pair, the ramus nearly as long as the very broad peduncle. Telson broad, cleft nearly to the base, the lobes armed distally with a pair of spines and several setae. Length 20 mm. Several specimens collected by Dr. W. R. Coe, at Dutch Harbor, Alaska. In the larger specimens the last two thoracic and first three abdominal segments are elevated posteriorly and terminate abruptly, giving the back almost the appearance of being dentate.
