The Great East Window in York Minster, York, North Yorkshire


Fully restored in 2018 following ten years work, it is the largest expanse of medieval stained glass in the country. Created between 1405 1nd 1408 led by master-glazier John Thornton, the window tells the story of the beginning and end of all things.
