Sunny view, towards Prosta Street skyscrapers, pedestrian crossing, Towarowa Street at Rondo Daszynskiego, Warsaw, Poland

View, looking east, from Rondo Daszynskiego at the intersection of Towarowa and Prosta Streets. Completed in 2004, the Lucka City Building, at 120 m, is currently the 12th tallest building in Warsaw. The building, centre background, houses apartments and offices. A main tenant, whose logo is seen at the top of the building, is Interdruk, a leader of the printing industry in Poland since 1991. Next to the building rises the openwork, reinforced concrete facade of the Prosta Tower, a 19-storey skyscraper, built 2007-2011. The Prosta Tower is the address of the Marvipol Development Company. To the side of the office building, right background, is the monument to the Warsaw Ghetto Fighters, at 51 Prosta Street, a monument unveiled 25 May 2010 at the very place where on 10 May 1943 forty combatants of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising were evacuated from the sewage canals, loaded onto a truck and transported to freedom.
