Industrial production line robot. This is a Motoman welding robot from the Yaskawa Electric Corporation, Japan. The Motoman arm is co-ordinating with a Motopos positioner, used to hold the device (centre) being welded. Motoman robots are usually used on car production lines. This robot is on display at IREX 2007, the International Robot Exhibition held in Japan. Organised by the Japan Robot Association (JARA), IREX is the largest robotics trade show in the world, showcasing the latest in robot technology. In 2007, the exhibition had over 1000 booths, and took place from 28th November to 1st December, at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center.
