CHAPTER DAVY PRESS. This press, which is represented in figs. 152, 153, 154,155. 156, and 157, was built by Davy Brothers, in Sheffield,England, for the shops of Cammell & Company of thesame city, from the designs of Mr. Charles Davy, who hastaken out patents in all the States of Europe and theUnited States. This press is composed of two large pistons, each in diameter and meters stroke, separate fromeach other, and of two relieving pistons meter indiameter and meters stroke.
