Naevus spilus, benign skin growth. Close-up of a collection of flat brown macules on a slightly hyperpigmented background. Nevus spilus, also known as speckled lentiginous naevus, is a type of congenital melanocytic lesion. It is benign, starts as lentiginous in infancy and early childhood, and develops darker palpable components around puberty in a 'speckled' distribution.
