Males can be distinguished by the light interocellar area of thehead, darker wings and body, paraprocts wider at base and not deflecteddownward at apex, large expanded dorsal lobe on aedeagus bearing small, stout spinulae, sclerotized aedeagal process bifurcate at apex, and lack oflong, sharp hair-like spinulae on proximal aedeagal stalk.
