Springbok, Antidorcas marsupialis, in the dry riverbed of the Auob river in the Kalahari Desert in South Africa. The Springbok, occur on the arid scrublands and grasslands of south and southwestern Africa, and they are the National Animal of South Africa. They used to form herds of over a million and migrate after the sporadic rains.
