An examination of this chart shows that the tempera- ture for a period of two or three weeks following blossoming has been lower each year, in agreement with the greater elonga- tion of the fruit. We have data for a number of oilier stations, and all show a tnilar correspondence of temperature and form. Fig. 2 shows si.
