St. Augustine Catholic Church built 1927- 1928 designed by architect Josef Bachem, Dänenstraße 17/18, Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin, Germany Late Expressionist style building has two pointed arch portals topped with terracotta statues representing patron saints St. Monica and St. Augustine. The façade is red clinker brick and the central church tower has a circular rose window and cross. The adjacent five-storey rectory has an arched portal and a base of red clinker bricks but the facade above the first floor is clad in gray plaster
