There was a large tree in the Chapel, which was also 22. decorated with Christmas greens, and the nurses took pleasure in trim-ming five small trees in the babies wards. Through the kindness ofMrs. Kingsland, there was a Christmas card for every one at the break-fast table. After the distribution of gifts in the morning, a bountifuldinner of turkey and mince pie was provided, and the day closed with atreat of ice cream and an entertainment with a Victor phonograph inthe evening.
