Head of Brother Onufrio ca. 1615–20 Girolamo Campagna The subject, identified by the inscription beneath his cowl, was presumably the theologian Hieronymus Onuphrius who wrote De Paenitentia virtute (Venice, 1616) and Aureae disputationes de anima (Venice, 1619). The head was probably in a niche, affixed by the iron strap protruding from the Head of Brother Onufrio. Girolamo Campagna (Italian, Verona 1549–1625 Venice). Italian, Venice. ca. 1615–20. Bronze.
