PACIFIC OCEAN (April 7, 2017) Navy Aviation Structural Mechanic (Safety Equipment) Airman Phil Mcmanama, back, a native of Chatsworth, Calif., and Aviation Structural Mechanic 2nd Class Peter Ilinkivoich, a native of Prior Lake, Minn., both assigned to the “Providers” of Fleet Logistics Support Squadron (VRC) 30, prepare to launch a C-2A Greyhound off the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) April 7, 2017. Nimitz is currently underway in the Pacific Ocean conducting Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) with the Nimitz Carrier Strike Group in preparation for an upcoming deployment.
