Inthe nursery and sickroom electric milk warmers and devicesfor heating water are becoming a necessity, while the easily. The Electric Hair-drying Machine regulated electric pad threatens to entirely displace the hot-water bag. Quilts and comfortables and even rugs and car-pets are now wired for electrical heating. These are con-nected to the ordinary lighting circuit by means of the usualflexible cords. Their advantages for the nursery or for anybedroom will be apparent. Pictured in one of our engravings is a corner in an electrically equipped bathroom. On thewashstand is a water heater which will quickly heat enoughwater for shaving. At the right is a massage vibrator whichis portable and can be connected to any lamp socket. Thedevice is simple and can be easily operated by any one. Be-neath the bowl is an electric radiator. Electrically heatedcurling irons, electric cigar lighters, electric chafing dishes,etc., are but a few of the many electrically heated devicesnow in common use. Contrary to the popular impression thecost of electricity for operating these various householddevices is not very great.
