Berlin Hansaviertel,Bellevue S-Bahn railway station is on the Berlin Stadtbahn - City building is part of the BVG commuter network. The station was opened in 1882 but was rebuilt and extended between 1928-1932 to accommodate the S-Bahn rapid transit system. It was damaged during WW2 but was repaired & became a listed building in1987. After German re-unification the whole Stadtbahn viaduct was restored and Bellevue station was re-opened in 1996 after modernisation. The station is named after nearby Bellevue Palace, the residence of the President of Germany.
