Bovine coronavirus enzyme. Molecular model of the hemagglutinin-esterase enzyme of the bovine coronavirus (BCV). Coronaviruses cause common colds and gastroenteritis in humans and similar disease patterns occur in animals, particularly in pigs and (in this case) cows. The hemagglutinin-esterase enzyme is a protein found in the viral envelope, playing a role in its interaction with its host.
