Since the last operation, eight years ago, he has at differentintervals complained of diurnal and nocturnal frequency, severe burning at 390 EMPYEMA OF THE URETER.\L STUMP beginning and end of urination. The urine has been ven- turbid, and has containedlarge clumps of white material. He complains of pain in both loins, aggravatedon defecation. Physical Examination.—May, 1921, shows a man in good general condition
