Looking SE from the burial chamber of Rubh'an Dunain chambered tomb, Isle of Skye, Scotland, UK, to the antechamber, entrance passage & forecourt. The entrance passage increases in height & width as it approaches the polygonal burial chamber. The tomb was excavated by Sir Lindsay & Mrs Scott in 1931 & 1932. They found it was used for burials & ceremonies in the Neolithic (3rd millennium BC) & also in the Bronze Age (early 2nd millennium BC) by people using Beaker pottery.
