Monument to Hattie McDaniel in Hollywood Forever Cemetery. Hattie McDaniel won an Oscar for her role in Gone with the Wind. She wanted to be buried in Hollywood Cemetery, but was not allowed to because she was African American. This monument was later placed here in her honor.
