New Hampshire is famous for its covered, wooden bridges and the one at Bath-Haverhill is the oldest of it's kind still in use in the state. Built in 1823, the bridge is 250ft long. If you go to the town of Bath looking for this covered bridge you're in for a surprise because the town has two other covered bridges - the Bath Bridge and the Swiftwater Bridge, all dating from the first half of the 19th century. Indeed, there was a fourth covered bridge called the Jackman bridge nearby, but that was destroyed in 1927.
