Dwarf Shirley Popoy. The plants, with their finely-cut foHage and numerous slender flower-stalks, form vigorous bushes not much above i8 ins. in height. The delicate round-petaled flowers attain a diameter of 3 to 4 ins., and appear in various shades or light and dark salmon red and orange, be- sides being often prettily bordered with white. Of all the colors presented by the magnificent Poppy family, these charming and entirely novel tints are especially effective, and it is well worth while to grow them apart from the mixture. Pkt. 25 cts. PAPAVER, ALPINUM FACINATUM. Papaver, alpiaum facinatum (Alpine Poppies), \^'hite, salmon, rose or orange. Packet 20 cts. Poppy—Dwarf Shirley. MONTBLANC SWEET X,. The earliest and most graceful Sweet Pea in the market, of pyr- amidal growth ; a very showy novelty. The individual flower is very large and of the purest white. In shape it more nearly resembles Emily Henderson, but the standard is somewhat wider, and being uncommonly erect and well expanded shows off its glistening whiteness to the greatest advantage. Another striking feature is that the masses of snow white flowers are borne clear of the foliage, so that scarcely a single flower is hidden. When planted early in March will bloom the end of May.
