Liberty Brockington displays her mermaid colored pencil drawing that won a recent local art competition on Fort Jackson, , on Feb. 17, 2022. Her father, Staff Sgt. Demitrius Brockington, a South Carolina National Guard information technology specialist, said he is still trying to figure out what side of his Family she gets her artistic talents from. Her art will compete in the Boys and Girls Club National Art Competition later this year.
