Slate still attached to rock face, at Blue Lagoon Abereiddy beach Pembrokeshire West Wales
Welsh slate from the 'Blue Lagoon', was a small slate quarry, now flooded by the sea. Initially slate was exported across Abereiddi beach, but later through a tramway to the harbour at Porthgain a couple of miles to the North.
