Patent model of an improved Loom-temple machine invented by J. B. Stamour, granted US Patent number 209101 on October 15, 1878.
Patent models were required in US from 1790 to !880. Inventors made two scale models for each application and, if the patent was granted, the US Patent Office kept one for it's records.
