The pods are extra long, straight, oval, clear, waxy white color; often growing to a length of 7 to 8 inches, and, when fit for use, are quite stringless and of fine flavor. For earliness and freedom from rust it is at the head of the Wax Bean family. Hab- it upright and robust, holding the pods well from the ground. The pods are five to six inches long, broad, thick, very fleshy, and entirely stringless, far surpassing all other vari- eties in this respect, and retaining these important qualities until almost ripe.
