Jay Weatherwax, the chaplain for the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, recites a bible verse during a renewal of faith and baptism ceremony atop the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1), underway in the East China Sea, Oct. 21, 2018. While on patrol, Marines and Sailors have a variety of religious services available to fulfill their religious needs.
